The Day of the performance

On the day of the performance I thought that everyone was nervous but excited and ready for our first theatre presentation at the Brit School. Before we performed we had a run through from start to finish as a final rehearsal which went okay but there was some mistakes as we went through it, so that added on to the nervousness because we wanted to get it perfect for when we performed the play "punk rock" in front of our audience so when we finished the rehearsal we had a short break to get ready and to relax before the big performance. So when the time had come for us to show our parents what we have been doing for the first half term at our new school we were exited to show them what we had learnt. They were all sitting round in a big circle around the stage when we first came in at the start of the play, as we performed in front of the audience, I thought it was the best performance by far with no mistakes and with fantastic performances by everyone from start to finish. At the end of the play we went out with a bang, well at least with a very load scream, it was the end of the play. We bowed to our audience and then left the stage with everyone feeling great as it went fantastic.
